One child, one teacher, one book, and one pen can change the world
– Malala Yousafzai

This is the first post on my new blog. I’m just getting this blog started, so stay tuned .
I am Malala is a powerful book. It transports the lucky reader to another world, a world of war and destruction; but also of hope. It proves that when a person sets their mind to something, they can do anything.
I am Malala tells of the struggles; the bombings, the Taliban, the deaths, and of the small idiosyncrasies; annoying brothers, bad cooking and fallouts with friends. Malala writes of how her own father was threeatened by the Taliban, how Malala herself was shot and how she has forgiven the people who shot her.
I do not even hate the Talib who shot me. Even if there was a gun in my hand and he stands in front of me, I would not shoot him.
